Abstract
Postmenopausal syndrome is a common condition seen in women during the post-menopausal phase. According to ayurveda, rajoksaya (cessation of menstruation) takes place after the age of 50 and postmenopausal syndrome (PMS) can be correlated with Rajonivrttilaksana. Modern medical science is having solutions for PMS with its own risk of development of carcinoma endometrium by means of hormone replacement therapy. Rasayana therapy is meant to get prasastadhatus, hence rasayana is the best therapy in this condition.
