The Clinical effect of shunthi guggulu godanti in the management of amavata

Abstract
To evaluate the clinical effect of Shunthi , Guggulu and Godani on Amavata, an open trial was conducted at R.R.I. (Ay.), Vijayawada. A total of 55 established cases of Amavata were selected for the study as per the protocol by CCRAS, New Delhi. The drug Shunthi Guggulu and Godanti (1:2:1 ratio) 2gms. Thrice a day with warm water was administered to the patients. The imporvement of sbejective and objective parameters was assessed and highly significant improvement was observed after 42 days of treatment. Out of 55 cases 6 got good response 8 got fair response, 15 god poor response and 4 were dropped out from the study. Total 33 patients were benefited by this study and no adverse effect were observed.
