Abstract
A study of 52 cases of age related immature cataract attending OPD of eye clinic, central research institute (ay.) new delhi was conducted to observe the effect of distillate of butea monosperma root (palasha moola arka) for 4 months. Significants improvement in visual acuity and quality of vision was observed in certain cases. a 6 month follow-up observation of symptoms and no ocular irritation was noticed.
